The email from John Glore and Kimberly Colburn to direct in their NewSCRipts reading series came on my birthday. Happy birthday to me!

The gig introduced me to badass Brooklyn playwright Kate Cortesi, and reunited me with Uncle Vanya actor Jeff Nordling.

We rehearsed over 3 days and then presented the reading at music stands in the Argyros space. The trio of actors (which included Liam Springthorpe and Christopher Rivas) nailed it.
